Who can rent a Hyundai?

The general minimum for most passenger cars is 21 years of age and two years of driving experience. Approval depends on the selected vehicle and plan, so send the driver's details with the request. Ukrainian renters need a passport or ID card, driving licence and tax identification number. Foreign renters should have their passport and licence requirements checked before collection.

For self-drive Hyundai rental, confirm the approved driver and intended use in advance. The car is not offered for taxi work or hourly rental. A chauffeur is available only through a separately agreed service, not as part of a standard self-drive booking.

Match Base or Prime to your route

Base includes a mileage allowance of 250 km per day. Estimate the return journey as well as the outward leg, plus local driving during the stay. Ask how any excess distance would be charged under your agreement. This matters even when the rental itself is short.

Prime provides unlimited mileage from the first rental day, regardless of duration, where the package is available for the chosen vehicle. Its driver requirements are at least 25 years of age and three years of experience. Confirm eligibility rather than assuming that meeting the general rental minimum also qualifies you for Prime.

Eligible Prime bookings do not require the standard vehicle deposit, but separate funds for possible traffic fines still apply. Confirm the amount and return procedure when booking. Insurance protection and any remaining financial responsibility follow the contract, including its exclusions and incident-reporting requirements; an expanded package is not a universal zero-risk guarantee.

Arrange a clear collection and return

The Kyiv office is at 1A Volodymyra Zabolotnoho Street and opens daily from 08:30 to 20:30. Agree the handover time; delivery elsewhere needs separate confirmation.

At collection, record the vehicle's condition with the BLS representative and check agreed accessories and return arrangements. A fuel-powered vehicle is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank; confirm the correct fuel type. If the confirmed vehicle requires charging, agree its charge level and return requirements separately.

General questions

Can I book with a driving licence issued outside Ukraine?

Ask BLS to check your licence's issuing country and format for the intended booking. An international driving permit may be required alongside your national licence. Complete that check before making travel arrangements around a particular car; a foreign licence is not automatically accepted in every format.

How do I request a suitable child seat?

Provide the child's age, height and weight, and say how many restraints you need. Ask BLS to confirm the available seat and its compatibility with the vehicle being reserved. Include your luggage requirements too: the brand name alone does not establish how the passengers, restraints and bags will fit together.

Can someone else share the driving during our trip?

Arrange an additional driver before they take the wheel. BLS must check their documents and eligibility for the reserved vehicle and add them to the rental contract before they drive. Ask about any additional charge for your rental period. Travelling together or being married to the renter does not itself authorise another person to drive.

What if my replacement-car booking needs to run longer?

Contact BLS before the agreed return time with the new date you need. The team must confirm vehicle availability and revised payment and rental terms. An extension is not automatic, especially if the car has another reservation; do not keep it beyond the agreed period without approval.

Can I include a journey outside Ukraine in the booking?

Declare the destination countries and travel dates before reserving. Cross-border use requires prior written approval from BLS for the selected vehicle, the necessary documents and confirmation of insurance territory and restrictions. A domestic booking does not by itself authorise a border crossing, and not every proposed route or vehicle will qualify.

Can I collect in Kyiv and return in another city?

Request a one-way arrangement with the exact return city, place and time. BLS must confirm that the service is possible for the booking and quote any separate charge. Do not assume that the presence of a BLS office in another city gives permission to return there without an agreement.

What should I do if the car is damaged during the rental?

Make the situation safe and contact BLS Assistance promptly using the details supplied at handover. Follow the contract's reporting procedure and preserve the requested evidence. Do not authorise repairs or settle a damage claim on BLS's behalf without instructions; the incident must be documented for the applicable insurance process.
