Choose a Toyota around passengers, luggage and parking
Toyota Corolla rental is worth considering for everyday journeys when a larger vehicle would add little to the trip. Compare the Corolla with a Camry if rear-seat comfort for business guests is a priority. Tell BLS how many people and bags will travel together, and check the space you need rather than choosing solely by the class name.
A RAV4 rental offers a crossover alternative to a saloon. For a RAV4 Hybrid rental, compare the confirmed hire terms with those for the petrol version and discuss your planned driving. The hybrid badge alone does not establish your fuel bill, equipment or luggage capacity; these depend on the particular vehicle and how it is used.
Land Cruiser rental calls for a different decision: consider parking access, vehicle size and the requirements of the VIP category before choosing this larger SUV. A substantial vehicle is not automatically the right answer for every family trip. You can also compare SUVs across the BLS fleet if another make fits the route better.

Toyota rental requirements
Check the driver's eligibility before choosing a package. Ukrainian citizens need a passport or ID card, a driving licence and their tax identification number. Foreign renters need a passport and driving licence; ask BLS whether an international driving permit is required for your documents. Company bookings may also require company documents and authorisation for the driver.
- Most vehicles require a driver aged at least 21 with at least two years of driving experience.
- VIP vehicles require a minimum age of 23 and at least two years of experience.
- Prime requires a minimum age of 25 and at least three years of experience, where the package is available for the selected vehicle. Any stricter category requirements still apply.
Match mileage and insurance to your route
If you hire a Toyota for a multi-city itinerary, estimate the distance before comparing packages. Include journeys between overnight stops and local driving at each destination. The relevant difference is the tariff you select, not simply whether the booking lasts a few days or a month.
- Base includes 250 km per day throughout the rental. Ask for the applicable excess-mileage charge if your planned journey could exceed that allowance.
- Eligible Prime rentals include unlimited mileage from the first day and waive the standard vehicle deposit. BLS still retains a separate amount solely for possible traffic fines. Confirm the amount and the retention and release procedure for your booking.
BLS vehicles carry basic insurance, including CASCO and third-party liability cover. Insurance does not mean every loss or expense is automatically covered. Ask what liability remains under your chosen package, which exclusions apply, and how an incident must be reported. Expanded cover is subject to the rental agreement and must be confirmed for the vehicle.

Daily journeys or a monthly stay?
Toyota car hire for an extended visit should be planned around the whole period of use. Consider regular commuting, weekend journeys and where you will return the vehicle. You can arrange a car for a longer period and discuss suitable dates without treating the rental as a finance lease or a purchase plan.
The final quote depends on the vehicle, duration, package and agreed extras. Ask for the complete booking amount and identify separately charged services, such as an additional driver or agreed delivery. BLS accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and bank transfer; cash is not accepted. Confirm payment arrangements before collection, especially when a company is paying for another person's journey.
From your booking request to the return inspection
- Send the pickup and return dates, preferred Toyota, passenger count and intended route. Mention child-seat needs or another driver when requesting the booking.
- Confirm the actual vehicle available for those dates, driver documents, Base or eligible Prime, insurance conditions and the complete quote. Agree any delivery rather than assuming it is included.
- At collection, inspect the bodywork and interior together with the BLS representative. Record existing damage, the fuel level and mileage in the handover documents, and ask about controls you have not used before.
- Allow time for the return inspection and check the return conditions in your agreement. If your plans change, contact BLS before the agreed return date and time rather than assuming an extension is automatic.
