Tesla hire from BLS in Kyiv is a self-drive option for daily journeys, business visits and longer stays. Plan your dates and charging stops alongside the route, then confirm the vehicle and rental terms. An electric car should fit your schedule, not leave you organising the trip around an unexpected charging stop.

Is an electric sedan right for your journey?

Tesla Model 3 rental suits drivers considering an electric sedan rather than a larger SUV. Think about rear-seat comfort, luggage and parking at your destination. If you are travelling with bulky bags or a pushchair, check the loading space you need before booking instead of assuming every passenger car offers the same arrangement.

An electric drivetrain changes the daily routine: you plan charging rather than fuel-station visits. That can work well for appointments across Kyiv when suitable charging fits around where you stay or work. For a tight itinerary with no dependable charging opportunity, a petrol or diesel vehicle may be the more practical choice.

For electric car rental, body style and charging arrangements both matter. You can compare electric cars for your route when the sedan layout does not fit your passengers or luggage. Availability of the chosen vehicle is checked for your dates; the Tesla name alone does not establish a particular configuration.

Before you rent a Tesla, check how you will charge

Ask BLS to explain the charging connection on the selected vehicle and which cable or adapter, if any, will be supplied. Then check compatibility with the points you intend to use. A charging symbol on a map is not enough: the connection, access rules and payment method must all work for your booking.

For charging at your accommodation, confirm access, parking and restrictions with the host beforehand. A parking space does not automatically include charging. Do not treat an ordinary socket as an approved arrangement without the correct equipment and instructions.

Fit charging into the day, not just the distance

For daily Tesla rental, consider your meetings, accommodation and return trip. Can charging take place while the car is parked, or do you need a separate stop? A short hire still needs a workable plan when your schedule leaves little spare time.

For an intercity route, identify charging opportunities before setting off and leave room for changes. Check opening hours and access directly, and consider an alternative stop rather than relying on a single location. Include charging time in your arrival estimate; a station's advertised power does not guarantee a fixed stop length.

Battery range is an estimate, not a promised distance. Speed, weather, terrain and cabin heating can affect energy use; charging speed also depends on the vehicle and battery conditions. Review the energy information during the trip and adjust the plan when necessary. Avoid scheduling an important appointment immediately after a charging stop with no time margin.

Mileage allowance is not battery range

For Tesla car rental, compare the permitted kilometres with your whole itinerary, including diversions and local journeys between longer drives. The rental plan determines the contractual mileage allowance. It does not determine how far the battery will take you before another charge, so both questions need attention.

Base includes 250 km per day, regardless of rental duration. Eligible Prime bookings have unlimited mileage from the first day. A longer booking does not automatically remove the Base limit. Discuss your expected route with BLS and confirm the applicable excess-mileage terms when comparing the plans.

With eligible Prime, the standard vehicle deposit is waived, but BLS still retains separate funds for possible traffic fines. Confirm the amount and release procedure for your booking. BLS vehicles have motor third-party liability insurance and CASCO cover, subject to the agreement: check covered risks, exclusions, reporting duties and your financial responsibility rather than treating extended protection as coverage for every situation.

What determines the cost to rent a Tesla?

The quotation depends on the rental period, selected vehicle and plan, plus any agreed delivery or additional services. Ask for a total covering your dates, not just a daily rate from a different duration. Separate the rental charge from refundable funds or other holds so you understand what is payable and what may be released later.

Compare the same dates, mileage allowance, protection and handover arrangements. Agree an extension, its price and availability before the original return time. Settle changing dates and cancellation conditions before paying to reserve.

Check driver eligibility before choosing a plan

  • Confirm the requirements for the chosen car. Most passenger cars require a driver aged at least 21 with two years of driving experience; VIP vehicles require at least 23 and two years. Prime requires a minimum age of 25 and three years of experience, and any stricter vehicle requirement still applies.
  • Prepare your passport or ID and driving licence; Ukrainian citizens also provide their tax identification number. Visitors should check foreign licence acceptance and any international driving permit requirement before collection.
  • Arrange payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or bank transfer. Cash is not accepted. Agree the payment arrangements after the vehicle, driver and quotation have been confirmed, especially when a company is paying for an employee's booking.

A day, a working week or a longer stay?

You can hire a Tesla for a short visit without committing to ownership. Include collection, familiarisation and return in your booking duration. Trying an electric car can help you assess whether charging fits your normal routine before a future vehicle choice.

For monthly Tesla rental, consider where you will park and charge throughout the stay, including weekends and changes of workplace. You can plan a longer rental period with BLS and request terms for the full duration. Confirm the model and dates individually; a monthly arrangement is not a finance or purchase agreement.

If Tesla car hire is for business, identify the authorised driver and the documents your company needs. A convenient charging point near one meeting may not serve the rest of the assignment. Match the vehicle to the employee's regular route as well as the first day's plans.

Why choose BLS for your Tesla journey?

BLS Car Rental has operated since 2007 and serves private and corporate clients. You arrange the vehicle, mileage plan and handover with one rental company. BLS Assistance 24/7 supports customers on the road, separately from the main office's opening hours. Card and bank-transfer payments allow a company to organise transport for an employee; confirm its documentation requirements before collection.

Arrange the Kyiv handover

The main office is at 1A Volodymyr Zabolotnoho Street, Kyiv, open daily from 08:30 to 20:30. Agree your collection and return time in advance. If you request delivery, confirm the address, timing and service charge separately rather than assuming every location or time is included.

Before driving away, check the recorded condition and equipment, and ask for a demonstration of unfamiliar controls. Locate the lights, demisting controls and charging screen while parked. Get the charging and access instructions for this particular vehicle; familiarity with another electric car is not a substitute for the handover explanation.

When considering a Tesla Model 3 for rent, send BLS your dates, passenger and luggage needs, route and charging plan. Confirm the return arrangements in the agreement and allow time to complete them.

To rent a Tesla Model 3, confirm the selected car, driver eligibility and full quotation before reserving. If the charging plan or vehicle layout does not suit the trip, choose another make that suits the journey. The useful choice is the car that works for the whole itinerary.

Practical questions before your Tesla journey

General questions

How should I plan the Model 3's last charging stop?

Ask BLS to record the required return-charge level and any charge-related fees in your agreement before departure. No universal battery percentage should be assumed. Plan the final charging stop around the agreed return time, and keep the handover record so the requirement is clear to both sides.

Can I use the vehicle owner's account to pay for charging?

Confirm the charging-payment arrangement directly with BLS. Establish who pays, how any charging account is used and how charges are settled. Do not assume electricity is included in the rental quotation or that access to a charging point makes the session free. Check the operator's payment requirements before connecting.

Do I need the Tesla app to access the rental car?

Use the access method agreed with BLS at handover. Ask whether app access is provided for your booking and what to do if your phone loses power or connectivity. Do not rely on a personal Tesla account automatically unlocking the rental vehicle; confirm the access and backup procedure before leaving.

What if a planned charging point cannot be used?

Reassess the next stop while there is sufficient charge, and stop safely before searching or making calls. Contact BLS Assistance if you need guidance or the vehicle reports a problem. Do not force a connector, improvise an adapter or continue towards an unreachable charger; follow the vehicle-specific instructions and arrange help.

Can someone else share the driving during my Tesla booking?

Have the other driver approved and added to the rental agreement before they take the wheel. Their documents, age and driving experience must be checked, and any additional-driver charge agreed. This applies to a partner or colleague too; permission from the person who booked does not replace BLS authorisation.

Can I take the Tesla outside Ukraine?

Only after written approval from BLS. Submit the destination and route so the vehicle documents, insurance and permission can be checked. Plan charging for the approved journey as well. A domestic rental or unlimited contractual mileage does not by itself authorise a border crossing.

Can I extend the rental if my plans change?

Contact BLS before the agreed return time to request new dates. An extension depends on the vehicle's subsequent bookings and confirmation of the additional charge. Do not keep the car on the assumption that a message alone extends your agreement; wait for the revised arrangements to be approved.
