Solotvyno's salt water and microclimate have long been used for rest and recovery by people with joint, skin and respiratory conditions. The village is home to the Ukrainian Allergology Hospital. Aqua Hotel
Aqua Hotel is at 1 Sportyvna St, about a kilometre from the salt lakes. It has two outdoor pools, one with salt water and one with fresh water, plus a jacuzzi; the pools are open seasonally. Breakfast is included in the room rate, there is a restaurant and a bar, and guest parking is included in the price.
The hotel’s Booking.com page is currently inactive and we could not find an official website, so contact the hotel directly before your trip to check that it is taking guests on your dates.

Holi Day is a hotel at 105 Sportyvna St, 150 m from the Tepli Vody pools. Guests have seasonal outdoor saltwater and freshwater pools, a separate children's pool and free private parking. The restaurant serves European dishes, while the canteen offers home-style Transcarpathian cooking.

Ambassador is in the village's resort area and has two pools: a therapeutic saltwater pool and a freshwater pool. Non-residents can also use the pools for an hourly or daily fee that includes a sunbed and towels. The café serves Transcarpathian and European dishes. Hotel Nikoletta is on Kriange St, the resort street that runs along the lakes, about 5 minutes from them. It has saltwater and freshwater pools, a children's pool and a saltwater jacuzzi, as well as a children's area, gazebos, a restaurant and a bar. Parking is free and guarded. Rooms are snapped up early in high season, so book summer dates in spring.
EKVATOR

EKVATOR is a new hotel that opened in 2025, an 8–10 minute walk from the salt lakes. Guests can use a saltwater pool and jacuzzi, a playground, gazebos and barbecue areas, and there is free parking. We recommend checking which pools are available and their opening hours directly with the hotel.

Hotel Lotus is on Kriange St, next to the allergology hospital. It has two heated pools, one with salt water and one with fresh water, a children's pool and a saltwater jacuzzi; the pools are open from 8:30 to 22:00. Children have a playground and a trampoline, and there is a café for everyone. Despite the name, the hotel's official website does not currently list any spa services, and the salt room is still being prepared for opening.
Dallas

Villa Dallas consists of three modern wooden cottages in the resort area. Guests can relax by the outdoor pool with a sunbathing area and in a Japanese ofuro hot tub. Parking is free. Dallas suits those who want a quiet break away from the busy pools and prefer to visit the salt lakes separately.
Solotvyno Resort

Solotvyno Resort on Nezalezhnosti St is a complex with outdoor and indoor pools filled with brine and fresh water heated to 29–33 °C; the pools are free for guests. There is also a hot tub, a sauna and massage, the Rybnyk restaurant with a fishing pond, a playground and a children's room. Thanks to its indoor pools, it is one of the few options for a trip in the cooler months – check opening hours when you book.
HALAS

HALAS is on Ozerna St, right next to the salt lake. Beside the hotel there are saltwater and freshwater pools, a bar with a terrace and a car park. It is a convenient choice for those who want to stay in the heart of the resort area and walk to the lakes.
Visiting Solotvyno with children
- Children's pools. Holi Day, Nikoletta and Lotus have separate children's pools, and Solotvyno Resort has a children's room.
- Salt water keeps you afloat. Children find it easier to stay afloat, but keep a constant eye on them and do not let them dive: the salt badly irritates the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Shower after swimming. Always rinse off the salt with fresh water after bathing, especially from children's skin.
- Shade and water. Solotvyno gets hot in summer, so bring sun hats, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water.
How to drive to Solotvyno from Kyiv
The drive from Kyiv to Solotvyno takes about 11–13 hours without long stops. The most common routes are:
- Via Lviv and Mukachevo: take the M06 to Mukachevo, then the N09 through Khust to Solotvyno. This route is longer in kilometres, but most of it runs on good main roads.
- Via Ivano-Frankivsk and Rakhiv: take the N09 through Yaremche, Yasinia and Rakhiv. The route is scenic but has mountain hairpin bends, so it is best driven in daylight.
Before setting off, check the brakes and suspension: mountain sections put more strain on a car. BLS vehicles are checked before every handover. Keep plenty of fuel in the tank, as filling stations are further apart in the mountains, and download offline maps. If you plan to drive mountain roads or dirt tracks, it is more convenient to go for SUV rental.
