Best hotels in Dragobrat: with a pool, spa and near the lifts

Updated 23 October 2026.

Dragobrat is the highest ski resort in the Ukrainian Carpathians: it sits in a valley below Mount Stih at roughly 1,300–1,700 m, so snow lasts longer here than at most resorts. Hotels in Dragobrat are mostly small mountain hotels and guesthouses near the slopes rather than large resort complexes. This guide covers 12 hotels we checked against their Booking.com pages and official websites: with a pool, spa, near the lifts and for family holidays.

How to choose a hotel in Dragobrat

  • Distance to the lifts. The resort has several ski complexes and no single ski pass, so choose a hotel near the lift you plan to use.
  • Pool and spa. Only some hotels have a pool, so if it matters, check whether it is open in winter and included in the rate.
  • Backup power. Ask about a generator, as heating, water and the kitchen depend on it.
  • Meals. There are few shops at the resort, so a hotel restaurant or kitchen is handy.
  • Transfer. Check whether the hotel arranges a transfer from Yasinia and where you can leave your car.

How to get to Dragobrat

All routes to Dragobrat go through the village of Yasinia. From there it is about 13–15 km up a mountain road on which guests are taken by off-road vehicles and trucks, so ordinary cars are usually left in Yasinia. You can reach Yasinia by train or by car; from Ivano-Frankivsk it is about 106 km.

The easiest option is to combine your Carpathian trip with a rental car: car rental in Ivano-Frankivsk gets you to Yasinia without changes and lets you visit other resorts too. If you arrive in Lviv, car rental in Lviv is convenient. Before the trip, arrange parking in Yasinia and the transfer up with your hotel.

When to go to Dragobrat

Thanks to its altitude, the ski season in Dragobrat usually starts earlier and ends later than at other Carpathian resorts. Exact dates depend on snow and vary by hotel: for example, Villa Dragobrat plans its winter season from 18 December 2026 to 28 March 2027. Rooms for New Year and the winter holidays are booked well ahead, while in summer Dragobrat is popular for hikes along the Svydovets ridge and sunrises above the clouds.
